Pine Lake Resort

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pine Lake Resort in Carnforth! This trip was a birthday treat for my husband, and when he casually mentioned it was his birthday, the receptionist went above and beyond by kindly offering us both a lovely glass of prosecco – such a thoughtful and generous touch that really made the stay feel special. The accommodation was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax and unwind. The whole resort has a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. We couldn’t fault a thing and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend Pine Lake Resort for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Really nice place and the cabins were looked after very well. Great view of the lake and near to walking spots. We went to the arcade which was ok. Some of the slot machines were blocked and the racing one some were not working. Crazy golf was good and a bit of fun. Free to use. The swimming pool was fine. You have to book a time to go there. The jacuzzi was ok but you cannot sit in it when the bubbles are not working. On the last day the pool was closed so couldn't use it. We didn't use the tennis court, ping pong or gym but it looked fine. We stayed for 4 night which meant they serviced the apartment on the 3rd day. They changed the toilet paper, gave us new towels and emptied the bin. Could have made bed or taken recycling as that started to pile up but a minor improvement. The door handle on bathroom was faulty which meant count not open from inside. Luckily there was 2 of us so you could let other one out. This was reported.

The Pine Lake Resort's studio rooms were a great relaxing getaway. It was spacious for a couple, clean & had everything you need, including a kitchenette with a microwave & the filter coffee pot was a nice touch. Some guests have mentioned the furniture is a bit "caravan-y," but overall, they're a comfortable choice. The resort itself is lovely, with a picturesque lake, indoor pool, sauna, and plenty of activities like watersports and mini-golf but sadly, we did not use any of these facilities as we were only there for 2nights. Staff were friendly & helpful & the location was great for exploring local attractions like the Lake District. We explored Arnside & Grange-over-sands during our short visit. There was also a restaurant, a small shop, very convenient for snacks & a games room within the resort. Defo a fantastic place for an weekend getaway.

Brilliant for a short break in a lovely setting. Great value for money the rooms are spacious and immaculate with TV and full kitchen facilities and a bathroom with shower and bath. The leisure facilities are very good with a pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, with a small gym to boot. The only thing I would say is that the bar and bar food aren't fantastic. However it's not that expensive, though a little overpriced I would say. Otherwise though, great place, the staff are efficient and friendly. Visited twice now and will be back.

Absolutely loved staying at Pine Lake. The staff were friendly and super efficient. The accommodation is immaculate and so well appointed, even had washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets (Yes, it had a dishwasher!). Everything looked brand new. Leisure Centre was perfect and again the staff were brilliant. Will definitely be back

Been here more than a couple of times now, and it’s become my go-to place to relax, unwind, and celebrate birthdays with friends and family. From summer water sports to the indoor game zone (just £1 a game), there’s always something fun to do. The on-site shop is handy, and the restaurant serves great food at reasonable prices for lunch or dinner. The leisure centre is a huge bonus — sauna, steam, jacuzzi, swimming — plus a spa offering massages for both men and women. I love the peaceful walks around the lake, sitting on a bench to admire the beauty and watch the birds. The rooms are spacious and perfect for a comfortable stay. A wonderful spot with everything you need in one place. Highly recommend!

Great place to go. Very clean rooms and great staff. Never had a bad experience. Also great size pike in the lake if you are up for abit of fishing

Great value, the Lodge was lovely and well equipped, Food was good in the restaurant, staff were friendly, facilities were good too. We visited in December and so it was very peaceful and quiet. I imagine it would not be as peaceful in summer. Really enjoyed our stay.
